Holding Gently

Where do I start with this work? There are so many layers and influences. One layer of meaning, another layer of texture. Playful experimentation, some chance and a little bit of control.  Much is explained in the ‘Journey’ artists statement (link below) . This is also is the larger version of ‘Holding Gently what you wish to grow old with‘. You can see the textured nature panels wrapped around her. She wears her connection to nature, she is nature. She holds gently what she wants in her life, to share with others and with future generations.
